Cooler Master preparing to expand the V line with 550W, 650W, 750W 80+ Gold fully modular units

EE2olpP1.pngAfter discontinuing the V700, Cooler Master doesn't have much to offer to people who desire a high end, fully modular PSU in the range of 550W-750W. That will soon change, as they have recently certified three units that fulfil these criteria.

The V fully modular line currently consists of 850W, 1000W and 1200W models manufactured by Seasonic. Introducing the V fully modular 550W, 650W and 750W units will allow Cooler Master to reach enthusiasts who don't need 850 watts or more, and also won't settle for semi-modular units from Cooler Master's V Semi-Modular line.

The V Fully Modular 550W, 650W and 750W units are manufactured by Enhance Electronics, the same company who makes the V Semi-Modular line, and each achieve 80+ Gold level efficiency. Their cable configuration, fans, inclusion of a semi-passive fan mode, price, release date, and whether these new units share the platform with the older semi-modular units, is unknown since Cooler Master support prefers to release details on their upcoming units at their own pace.

The designators of the new units are RS-550-AFBA-G1, RS-650-AFBA-G1 and RS-750-AFBA-G1 respectively.
